3 Habits that changed Marie's trajectory:
⏰ Waking up early at 5am - Importantly, also going to bed early. I still aim to get 7 hours of sleep. When I wake up early I feel like I get a head-start to the day, which mentally puts me in the right frame of mind to get stuff done
💤 Not hitting snooze - To do this, I've been setting an alarm on my phone and putting it in the bathroom, to force me to get out of bed. It also helps me not check my phone from bed which could sometimes set me back 30 minutes if I start replying to emails and slack notifications
⏳ Intermittent Fasting - I've been been doing this for 546 days now. Generally between a 14 - 16hr fast each day. It's not as hard as people think and helps tremendously with better sleep (I track sleep quality with my Oura ring) and mental clarity. So I try to have dinner early and then I skip breakfast the next morning. My first meal of the day is lunch but I still eat the same amount of calories throughout the day. It's just crammed into a shorter amount of time.
